Design Process

I am a strong believer in approaching every aspect of a design with a purpose. Color, layout, typeface, packaging, presentation, target audience, and location are all valued details. Building a strong foundation at the beginning of each project and establishing open communication is crucial.

 

​My goal is to demand the attention of the audience, visually speak, and provide information that supports the call to action. When beginning a project, I first review the client request. I then discuss the project with the client and research the content. From there, the creative process begins to blossom, including sketching, mood-boards, to proof of concepts.

Next, l present the creative plan to the client to confirm we are on the same page, strengthening the creative direction. To follow, I design a few different versions of the foundation elements of the project package request. These designs are discussed with the client, allowing them to choose which design visually portrays their ideas and brand best. Subsequently, I refine the final design and send it to the client to seek revisions or approval.
